Temple Har Zion is a 500+ member-family reform synagogue in Thornhill, Ontario. We are a community dedicated to supporting Canadian Jewish life – reinforcing egalitarian, inclusive and multi-generational Reform Jewish values. Our warm, musical and meaningful worship services focus on participation. We pride ourselves on providing varied programs for young children, teens and adults and have thriving Sisterhood, Brotherhood and Youth groups. We recently renewed our worship space with a redesigned sanctuary and refreshed social hall. Our religious and Hebrew schools offer children age 4 – 17 an opportunity to learn, participate and lead worship through a variety of services geared towards them.
Our members, and guests, regularly comment on the strong sense of community and family that they feel at THZ; evident through our worship services, learning, social action, school and life-cycle events.
