TEMPLE HAR ZION Temple Har Zion is an egalitarian, warm and inclusive community for Reform Jewish worship, learning, and personal growth for 500 families Located in the Toronto suburb of Thornhill, Ontario, we are searching for an experienced DIRECTOR OF EDUCATION The successful candidate l report to the Rabbi and be the visionary educational leader of a vibrant Religious School. The position is responsible for providing a supplementary school Hebrew and Judaic program that educates and inspires children and youth to learn about and embrace Reform Judaism through innovative, creative and relevant curricula for grades JK to 10 We seek a dynamic and enthusiastic educator who has experience in Reform Jewish education andcongregationallife, andpossesses strongadministrative skills as well as the proven ability to have a caring rapport with students, educators, parents, and fellow staff. The Director of Education will lead and mentor a team of teachers, develop and implement curricula, oversee Family and Tot Shabbat programming, and be a leader in building community and inspiring our students and teachers.
