The successful candidate must be a self-starter with a thorough knowledge of the Toronto Jewish community and its leadership. He/she will join a team of Executive Directors across Canada in Montreal, Winnipeg and Vancouver, in the growth and development of the organization as it represents Israel's youngest and most dynamic university -voted 6 years in succession by the Union of Israeli Undergraduates as Israel's best place to study. The organization has experienced outstanding growth across Canada these past few years and looks forward to even more record-breaking results in the years to come. He/she will have a deep passion for Israel with a minimum of five years in a successful fundraising or in an executive sales position and must feel comfortable in one-on-one solicitation of potential major (5, 6, 7 and 8-figure) donors. Experience in organizing fundraising and "branding" events is required and is extremely important to the further development and positioning of CABGU within the Toronto community. She/he will have a proven track record as a leader in working with and developing a volunteer lay board as well as in management and administration. Excellent interpersonal and leadership skills are required. The candidate will report directly to the Chief Executive Officer of the organization and be accountable as well to the Toronto President and Board of Directors.
